I asked the Universe one Wednesday to help me find my misplaced beloved necklace. Because lately, every time I ask the Universe for something (Or God-same thing), it is delivered. The magic lies in the faith. For without faith, there is no magic. I knew that my necklace would show up eventually, but I was REALLY wanting it. It was a gift from a group of my girls back home in Fargo, given to me before I embarked on my new adventure to Texas. It’s a dainty thing, sterling silver, with a beautiful display of a tiny charm of an arrow and a key crossing. The meaning of the necklace is “Love Rewards The Brave” and comes from Danielle LaPorte, one of my favorite soulfulpreneurs out there. You can find the necklace here (affiliate link). Being in the position of starting a new business in a new place with new people and just, new everything, bravery is not something I can afford to have a shortage of. This necklace reminds me what is required to chase down my dreams. To transform my life into what I’m envisioning it to be. The old Christine would have been upset immediately at the discovery of it being missing, but the NEW Christine has faith. Faith that what I ask for is given. This, combined with a positive mindset and choosing joy every moment possible has really made a sort of shift in my life that you only read about on other people’s blogs. Questions and prayers have been answered in the most unusual of ways, and divine guidance falling into my lap seemingly out of nowhere. Thank you, Universe! Anyways, that day, I looked high and low for that necklace. I checked everywhere and everything, and it didn’t turn up.
Like magic, the universe gives me a sign.
On Thursday evening, like magic, I received a sign. I happened upon a girl in one of my spiritual groups who had lost a piece of jewelry near and dear to her, and went on to locate the piece after consulting her pendulum. After reading about the girl’s experience, I remembered the beautiful goldstone pendulum that was a gift to me for my birthday from a dear friend. For those of you who are unaware of how a pendulum works, I’ll give you a quick break down. Pendulums are meant to be asked yes and no questions. The energy to move the pendulum comes from your own subconscious. For we have all the knowledge we need to answer all of our questions but sometimes it’s tucked away in our subconscious mind not readily available as quickly as our conscious mind. A pendulum is a tool to help tap into that subconscious.
On Friday morning, I pulled out my pendulum and began asking yes or no questions. I started in my office, asking first, if the pendulum was in fact, in my house. The pendulum began rotating right. Yes!! The necklace is in the house. Thank you, Universe! I then asked the pendulum if the necklace was in my office. It began to rotate left. Nope, not in my office. Went to the kitchen. Maybe it fell off while making tacos, I don’t know. Nope, not in the kitchen. I next went to my room and asked if my necklace was in there. It began rotating right. Yes. My necklace was in my room somewhere. Now, let me just say, I had searched that room high and low. Checking ALL the nooks and crannies. I was certain it was not in there. Until the pendulum told me it was. But even still, I had my doubts. So, I began looking in all the nooks and crannies again. I pulled out my phone to use as a flashlight and shown it under my bed, and wouldn’t you know. A sparkly something or other wedged between the wall and the flooring. I reached my hand down there and like magic, pulled out…my necklace. THANK YOU UNIVERSE! <3
